Wayne Albert Pionke

Wayne Albert Pionke passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022, at the age of 78 in the presence of his wife, Rita. Wayne was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 10, 1944 to Albert and Pearl Pionke. He was a graduate of DePaul University in Chicago, where he graduated with a Bachelors of Science and a Masters of Science degrees in Finance in the 1970s. While at DePaul University, he met his wife Rita and they were married on April 19, 1969. Wayne was a member of the Illinois National Guard from 1967 to 1972. He worked a variety of finance related jobs throughout his life. He loved to travel and was very accomplished at in-home repair. In 2017, both he and Rita moved from the Chicago suburbs to Bozeman, MT in order to be closer to their son Tom and his family, wife Lisa, daughter Joslyn, and son Dylan. His other child, JJ, is a librarian and has two Maine Coon cats. Wayne is survived by his wife, two children, and two grandchildren.
