Wanda Thomas

Wanda Charlene Thomas, 54, of Bozeman passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Wanda was born on December 3, 1954 in South Gate, California to Jesse and Marlene Hardy. She graduated from Valencia High School, and later attended Fullerton College. It was here that she met the love of her life, Jim Thomas, in math class. Wanda and Jim were married in Anaheim, California on September 22, 1974. Together, they had three beautiful children. In 1988, the family moved to Bozeman, where Wanda spent 13 years working at Vans IGA. Wanda enjoyed playing Yahtzee, but more than anything else, she loved her family, to which she was extremely devoted. Wanda was preceded in death by her mother, Marlene. Survivors include her husband, Jim Thomas; father, Jesse Hardy; children, Marlene Dawn Thomas, Benjamin Jeremiah Thomas, and James Joseph Thomas III; and one grandchild, Veronica Rose Star Thomas. Memorials in Wandas name may be made to the Bozeman Deaconess Cancer Center, 931 Highland Blvd, Ste. 3200, Bozeman, MT 59715. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 2, 2009 at Dahl Funeral Chapel.
