Virginia Labert

Virginia A. Labert, 77, of Bozeman passed away very early on Thursday, April 21, 2011. Virginia was born on July 9, 1933 in Deerfield, Michigan to Silas and Beatrice (Miller) Duval. She was raised and educated in Deerfield. Virginia was united in marriage to Marvin Labert on February 3, 1951 in Deerfield, Michigan. The couple made their home in Deerfield for two years, then twenty three years in Blissfield, Michigan before settling in Bozeman in 1986. Together they raised five children. Virginia was a wonderful cook, her family especially loved her fried chicken. She was a great housekeeper, but most of all a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Virginia was a member of Resurrection Catholic Parish. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her sons Richard and Patrick, her brother Albert Duval and sister Jeanette Amerhien. Survivors include her husband Marvin; her three children: Thomas (Terri) Labert of Bozeman, Linda (Terry) Etter of Adrian, Michigan and Robert Labert of Billings; seventeen grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; her sister Marian Near of Adrian, Michigan; her brother Jerry Duval of Florida; her sister Lucille Runde of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, April, 26 at Resurrection Catholic Parish. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Children Hospital, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
