Virginia Irene Cox, 90, of Bozeman, Montana went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 12, 2009. Virginia was born November 25, 1919 in Cleveland, Ohio to John and Barbara (Cleboska) Padewski. When she was six months old, the family moved to Los Angeles, California, where she was raised and educated. She graduated from Franklin High School in Los Angeles, California. She met George Cox on a blind date. A year later, on May 4, 1940, they were married in Yuma, Arizona. The couple made their home in Little Rock, California, then Lancaster, California for the next fifty years, until 1997, when they moved to Laguna Hills, California. In 2001, the couple moved to Bozeman to be near their daughter, Barbara. Virginia was the perfect Mom. She was a great cook, especially her enchiladas, cakes, macaroni and cheese, chicken and dumplings, and her Christmas cookies. She was friendly and kind to everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Clarence and Leonard, sisters Eleanor and Florence, and her son James at age 43.
