Vernon #8220;Cliff#8221; Clifford Thomas, 54, of Bozeman, passed away Friday, April 10, 2009. He was born August 25, 1954 in Denver, CO the son of Vernon Morris and Ruth Pauline (Fischer) Thomas. Cliff and his family moved to Atlanta, GA, when he was a toddler. He was raised and educated in Decatur, graduating from Towers High School and attending DeKalb Tech School. Cliff married Clare Lloyd on April 15, 1981 in Decatur, GA. They made their home in Cumming, GA. Cliff was a self employed Wallpaper Hanger #8220;Cliffhanger#8221;. He hung paper in many prestigious and historic homes in Atlanta and was known to be the best in his trade. Cliff and Clare loved the outdoors and moved to Bozeman two years ago to enjoy their favorite pastimes of hiking, skiing, hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Scott. Survivors include his wife Clare of Bozeman; his daughter Chasitty of SC; grandson Joshua of Loganville, A; 2 sisters Joy (Ted) Jones of Conyers, GA and Judy (Cam) McNair of Colorado Springs, CO; aunt Sissy Stevens and several nieces and nephews. Visitation 4 to 6 pm at Dahl Funeral Chapel on Monday April 13, 2009. A funeral service will be held 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Dahl Funeral Chapel.
