Thomas Mitchell Greco, 53, of Bozeman, passed away of natural causes Wednesday, January 17, 2018. “Tittle Mouse”, as his parents affectionally called him, was born April 1, 1964 in Billings, MT to Joseph and Marlene Greco.
He was raised and educated in Butte, MT. He graduated in 1982 from Butte High and earned a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Montana Tech.
Tom worked as a Civil and Environmental Engineer. He built many ponds for clients all over the region, and because of those relationships he was also a property and pond caretaker for several of his clients.
Best known for his boyish charm and sense of humor, Tom was also an avid conservationist, fisherman and golfer. He loved and was loved by his family, friends, and his dog Jake.
He was preceded in death by his father Joseph; his aunts and uncles Peggy Sims, Lee Sims, Richard and Shirley Sims, and Bob and Frances Walsh; and his dear friend Kirby Crowley, who was like a second father to him and shared with him his love of fly fishing.
Survivors include his mother Marlene Evatt of Fairfield; his five siblings, Jeannette Greco of Anaconda, Frank (Julie) Greco of Gillette (WY), Marc Greco of Dillon, Theresa Beam of Covington (GA), Lee Evatt of Fairfield; his aunt Rose; his uncles James and Paul Sims; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and close friends, Alex and Christine and their daughters, Mark and Nan Kehke and Rhonda McLaughlin.
A visitation and gathering to remember Tom will be held 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Dahl Funeral & Cremation Service Tribute Center Saturday, January 20th.
