Thomas A. Tecca

Thomas A. Tecca, 69, of Bozeman, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at his home. He was born in Livingston to Guy and Rose (Romano) Tecca on December 1st, 1944. Tom was raised in Livingston and graduated from Park High School in 1962. He married Harleen Botterud right out of high school and they had three children; Chantel, Vincent and Christine. During his life, Tom had a true passion for motorcycles. He would restore and rebuild custom bikes. He was also a welder, baker and dealt in antiques. When Tom wasn’t tinkering or riding his motorcycles, he also enjoyed gardening, antiquing, swap meets, cooking and was a talented artist and painter. Tom was proud of his Italian heritage. His family and friends will miss his spaghetti dinners. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and for being strong willed and independant. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his former wife Harleen Botterud. Survivors include: his three children, Chantel Tecca of Murrieta, CA, Vincent (Karla) Tecca and Christine (Ray) Goroski both of Missoula, MT; 5 grandchildren, Tiana, Madison, Vanessa, Nathaniel and Liesl; sisters Gilda Pollock, Dolores Van Orden, Juanita Wilson all of Livingston; and constant companion of 6 years Carol Golden of Belgrade, MT. A memorial motorcycle ride to celebrate Tom’s life will be held at a later date. 'The Man, The Myth, The Legend'.
