Teddy “Ted” Ray Suko, age 40, of Belgrade, MT died suddenly on June 5th, 2017. Ted was born on May 29th, 1977 in Williston, ND, the only child to parents Steve and Debra Suko. As a young child, Ted spent his formative years growing up all over Montana, graduating from Great Falls High School. He eventually settled in Belgrade, MT where he was the owner and operator of a sprinkler irrigation business. Ted later married the love of his life, Patricia, and together the couple raised two children: Alexander and Arianna.
Ted enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, and his favorite drink of choice, Captain Morgan. He loved to coach baseball and volunteer his time with the Cub Scouts. Ted invested years of love into his family and will be remembered most for his big and generous heart, for his ability to authentically connect with others, and for his honesty.
Ted is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Arlene Suko, and his maternal grandparents Betty and Jesse T. Erickson, Harold Williams, his special father-in-law Michael Mays, and his high school brother, Rocky Sergent. He is survived by his wife Patricia Mays Suko of Belgrade, MT; son Alexander Suko of Belgrade, MT; daughter Arianna Suko of Belgrade, MT; father Steve Suko of Great Falls, MT; and mother Deb (step-dad Randy) Bickel of Miles City, MT; special mother-in-law Ligaya (Gay) Mays; sister-in-law Ida Wilson (Rolf, children Freya and Bjorn) of Seattle, WA; paternal grandfather Bert Suko of Sidney, MT; and very special aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Memorial Service for Ted will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 16th at River Rock Community Center in Belgrade, MT. A potluck is to follow his service. Ted’s ashes will be scattered by his family in the place he loved to be.
