Ted Morford

Ted Morford, 72, of Bozeman, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2009. He was born July 2, 1937 in Wabash, IN, a son to Wayne and Mable (Walther) Morford. He graduated from Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH. Ted was united in marriage to Anita Delia on March 2, 1967 in Cleveland, OH. He was the owner and president of Big Sky Racks, (a business that makes specialized vehicular gun racks for law enforcement and the sportsman). He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Larry. Survivors include his wife Anita; three daughters and sons-in-law Vicki and Dan Smigelski of Cleveland, OH, Lisa and Mark Morrow of Cincinnati, OH, and Karen and John Erickson of Springfield, OR; son and daughter-in-law John and DeeDee Morford of Livingston, MT; 12 grandchildren: Lauren, Paige, Molly, Miles, Nolan, Austin, Melissa, Joseph, Thomas, Cody, Ashley, Kylie; a sister and brother-in-law Janet and Tom Zimmerman of Middlebury, IN. A celebration of Ted#8217;s life will be held 4 pm, Sunday, July 19, 2009 at Dahl Funeral Chapel, with a reception following at the Elks Lodge. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his name to the Montana State Elks Music Scholarship, 15 Juanita Way, Kalispell, MT 59901 and to the Gallatin Valley Food Bank, 602 Bond Street, Bozeman, MT 59715. Ted will be remembered as the eternal optimist. #8220;Super!#8221;
