Lohof Teckla Reno Lohof, passed away in Bozeman, Mt., on Saturday, Sept, 1, 2007, after a long illness. Teckla was born to Floyd and Eda (Johnson) Reno Jr. on January 5, 1958, in Gillette, Wyoming. She grew up on a ranch in southern Campbell County and attended Campbell County High School. During her time on the ranch she learned the ranching business inside and out, developing a lifelong love of horses and cattle. She was especially fond of ponies, training them to walk where ever she led them. Teckla received an Associates#8217; degree from Sheridan College after which she attended Montana State University. Her illness forced her out of school in 2006 while she was still a junior but she was able to earn her Realtors license in 2007. In addition, she was a member of the National Stock Horse Association, Red Angus Association, and American Quarter Horse Association. She had a great sense of humor and was a down-to-earth person, a loving mother and grandmother who often spent time visiting with friends. Teckla is survived by her mother, Eda of Wright, WY, and her children, sons; Kirk Lohof of Wyola, Mont., and Walter Alderson, of Lodge Grass, Mont., daughter; Rachel (Guy) Lohof Larson, of Lodge Grass, Mont., grandchildren Conley Larson and Briana Cunningham, both of Lodge Grass, Mont., brother Floyd Reno III, and sisters Teresa Turner of South Africa and Edie Reno of Gillette, Mont., and special friends Patrick Lohof of Birney, Mont., and Tom Alderson of Wyareno. She was preceded in death by her dad, Floyd. The family requests no flowers be sent. Instead, memorials may be sent in Lohof#8217;s name to the Campbell County Memorial Hospital Hospice via the Health Care Foundation, P.O. Box 7193, Gillette, WY 82717 Memorials may also be made to a scholarship fund set up for her son, Walter, to P.O. Box 54 Lodge Grass MT 59088. Memorial Service will be held in Gillette, WY, on Saturday, September 8, at 1:00pm at the Cam-plex Park, Shelter #5, with the Cindy Arndt, officiating.
