Sharry Davis

Sharry Dee Davis, 70, of Bozeman passed away Thursday, December 18, 2008 after a long a courageous battle with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Sharry was born on May 11, 1938 in Bozeman, Montana to John and Laura (Johnson) Apperson. She graduated from Gallatin County High School in 1956, and lived in the Gallatin Valley her entire life. On March 9, 1962, Sharry married Bennie Davis in Bozeman. Together they had two daughters, Donna and Terri. The two were married for 39 years, until Bennie#8217;s death in August of 2001. Sharry had been employed at I.M. Johnson Construction, Riverside Country Club, the Hub Bar in Belgrade and the Norris Bar. Sharry was a homemaker who loved reading, cross stitching, camping, western movies, and being with family and friends as well as horseback riding. When she was young, she helped her parents on their ranch east of Bozeman where she learned to love horses and riding in the foothills. She will always be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother. Sharry was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Donna DeHann, and one grandson, William. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Terri and William Bradley of Bozeman, as well as two grandsons, Benjamin and Kevin Bradley. Also, the family gives a heartfelt thank you to the Gallatin Rest Home and all of their wonderful staff for taking such great care of her. A Celebration of Life and interment of ashes will be announced at a later date. Memorials in Sharry#8217;s name may be made to Bozeman Deaconess Hospice, 931 Highland Blvd, Ste. 3200, Bozeman, MT 59715.
