Sandra 'Sandy' Lee Pierson

Sandra Lee “Sandy” Pierson, 67, of Bozeman, passed away February 23, 2015. Sandy was born February 24, 1947, in Salt Lake City, Utah to David and Colleen (Marks) Lether. Sandy was raised and educated in the Holiday area. Sandy loved her horse and mule, she had many childhood adventures with her friends and brothers while growing up. Sandy married Scott Pierson in 1981 in Elko, Nevada. After moving to Montana in the 90s, Sandy worked in the Bakery at the Lee and Dad’s grocery store. One of the greatest joys in Montana was being with her family at the cabin in Mammoth. Sandy was preceded in death by her mother Colleen, brother Cory, brother Mitch, and brother Steve. Survivors include: her husband of 33 years, Scott ; son David Elsner of California; two daughters, Debbie McNiel of California and Amanda Calvert of Florida; many grandchildren and many friends living throughout the United States. A Celebration of Sandy’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter, 1549 East Cameron Bridge Rd, Belgrade, MT 59714.
