Ruth Eleanor Berry

Ruth Landis Berry, 92, of Bozeman passed away September 17, 2016 in the company of her loving and devoted husband Dr. Ralph Berry. Ruth was born in Reading, PA on November 20, 1923 to parents Jacob and Bertha Landis. After her graduation from West Reading High School in June of 1941, Ruth went on to attend university at Hood College in Maryland, graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in June of 1945.

Ruth was introduced to Ralph Berry and on June 22, 1946 the two were married. They spent their early years living and working in Sheridan, WY eventually making their way to Bozeman. Together they raised four children: daughters Suzanne and Linda, and sons David and Ralph III. Ruth and Ralph spent a wonderful 70 years of married life together.

Ruth is preceded in death by parents Jacob and Bertha Landis and son Ralph III. She is survived by husband Ralph; daughters Suzanne and Linda; and son David; four grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Private family services and interment of the urn will be held at a later date.
