Rosemary “Rosie”, “GG” Zentner, 81, of Bozeman, passed away June 3, 2014. She was born July 5, 1932 in Dickenson, ND to George and Katherine (Olheiser) Reisenuer, the fourth youngest of fourteen children. Rosemary was raised and educated in Dickenson. While she was working at the City Cafe in Dickenson she met Thomas Zentner. The couple was later married on January 12, 1955 in Dickenson. They moved to South Dakota for a few years and then to Bozeman in 1958. Rosemary’s main passion in life was raising her four children. When they were growing she started babysitting because she loved babies. She babysat until the early 1980s and then worked at Kmart for a few years. Rosemary was an avid fisherman, she especially loved to fish at the silos at Canyon Ferry. She also enjoyed playing Rummy, Bingo, and gambling on the poker machines, especially in Jackpot and Windover, NV. She was also a great cook. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and many brothers and sisters. She is survived by: her three sons, Gary (Jodie) Zentner of Bozeman, Larry (Alice) Zentner of Bozeman, and Steve (Angela) Zentner of Fargo, ND; daughter Rita Parmley of Fort Fairfield, ME; brothers, Paul Reisenuer, Phillip Reisenuer, and Arnie Reisenuer; sister Clara Hamel; grandchildren, Alicia (Robert) Allen, Amanda Zentner, Jeremy Zentner, Nathan Zentner, Mitchell Zentner, Brandon Parmley, Allyce Ansolini, and Jon Bailey; and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Dahl Funeral Chapel followed by interment at Sunset Hills Cemetery. The family would like to thank Rocky Mountain Hospice and Spring Creek Inn for their gentle care of Rosie.
