Robin Harold (Robbie) Foster, 27, a resident of Waterville, Wash., formerly of Manhattan, died suddenly Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014. Robbie, as everyone knew him by, was born Sept. 14, 1986, in Bozeman to Doug Foster and Penny Steele. Later, Doug met and married his wife, Linda, who became step-mom to Robbie. They later moved to the Waterville area, where Robbie went to school and played sports. He graduated there, later attending Job Corps to take up truck driving like his dad, driving truck, seeing the country, making friends. Inheriting the gift of gab from his grandfather, Harold, it was easy for him to talk and make friends everywhere he went. He is survived by dad, Doug Foster of Waterville, Wash.; step-mom, Linda Foster of Waterville, Wash.; mom, Penny Steele of Salem, Ore.; sister, Brianna Steele of Salem, Ore.; lots of uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by grandparents, Harold and Judith Foster of Manhattan, Mont.; grandparents, Pat and Shan Shandorf; grandfather, Rex Steele; uncles, Melvin Foster and Norman ('Fuzz') Foster. He was a loving and thoughtful son, who will be missed. Rest in peace, Robbie. Graveside service will be held at Meadowview Cemetery in Manhattan on Saturday, May 31 at 1 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
