Rick Allen Vander Jagt

Vander Jagt Rick Allen Vander Jagt, 49, of Bozeman, passed away of natural causes on Wednesday, February 27, 2008. He was born in Kalispell, MT on May 28, 1958, to Paul and Connie (Teeple) Vander Jagt, the second of four children. He moved with his family to Bozeman in 1973, and graduated from Bozeman Senior High School in 1979. After graduating, he went to work in the family business, Vans IGA Rick was a very social person and loved people, especially his customers in the produce department, it seemed he knew them all, and loved to talk. His friends and family will tell of his generous spirit. There was a happy simplicity to Rick#8217;s life that was infectious. He loved driving his truck, fishing with his friends, and bowling. He spent hours wood crafting and was proud of his numerous collections. He is survived by his parents, Paul and Connie, three sisters, Paula Vander Jagt and her husband, Kelly Atkins, of Helena, Leannette Vander Jagt of Great Falls, and Lynnelle Vander Jagt of Billings, one nephew David and many friends. He will be greatly missed by family, friends and customers. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Dahl Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow, in Sunset Hills cemetery, Bozeman, Montana.
