Reed Cain

July 30, 1971 — December 26, 2010

On December 26th, Reed L. Cain his son Asher S. Cain passed into God's ever-loving presence as the result of a car accident. They will be greatly missed here by everyone who knew these gentle souls. Reed was born on the 30th of July 1971 in Ennis to Dan Spud Luella Cain. Reed's formative years were spent in Bozeman schools, later graduating from Butte's Vo-Tec program for small engines. Over the years Reed worked professions that related to passions in his life: skiing, fishing hunting. Reed worked as a ski tech, fishing guide and in sales in Billings, West Yellowstone Bozeman. Reed passed on his enthusiasm for each sport to every customer. Finding his niche, Reed settled into working at Owenhouse Hardware's downtown service shop which he enjoyed very much. On December 28th, 2001 Reed married Mary C. Perez and welcomed the birth of their son, Asher Soren, on December 5th, 2004. Although they were later divorced in 2010, Reed Mary continued to share the joy of parenting of little Asher. Reed was also a devoted father to his three step-sons Dakota, Thomas and Devyn. Having many friends and a large and blended family Reed was blessed by many that loved and appreciated his humor and loving nature. One of the greatest joys of Reed's family was watching he and Asher interact and their love and affection was contagious to friends and family alike. Reed was preceded in his arrival to heaven by his grandparents Jack Isla Cain, Maggie Morgan, Orsen Mary Leth, Andrew McCuaig Edward Hartunian as well as his sister Karin Burchill brother Caleb Cain. Surviving Reed are his biological parents and stepmother Victoria Cain; his brothers Terry Seavey, Randy Cain, Duane Burchill, Daniel Cain Nicholas Cain; and his sisters Merci Scott, Belinda Catron, Samantha Wurm Merry Cain. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions in Reed's name to PO Box 593 Ennis, MT 59729 Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Belgrade Alliance Church, 205 West Cameron Ave. Take N. Hoffman Street off West Main Street and go past the high school to the end of the street. Refreshments will be served after the services.
