Petersen, Eugene E.

Petersen Eugene E. Petersen, 90, of Gallatin Rest Home in Bozeman, formerly of Loveland, Colorado, passed away January 6, 2008. Eugene was born on August 24, 1917 in Julesburg, Colorado, to the late Charles and Roxanne (DeBerard) Petersen. He became a Pharmacist, then served 4 years in the Army during World War II, in the South Pacific. He married Fern Wright on June 29, 1941. Together for 51 years, they lived in Colorado Springs, Denver, Dallas and Loveland Colorado. Eugene was a licensed pharmacist and worked with Abbott Laboratories for over 30 years. He retired there as a Pharmaceutical Sales, District Manager. Eugene or #8220;Pete#8221; as many called him, always had twinkle in his eye, and a smile that lit up the room. Eugene was preceded in death by his wife Fern in 2002. He was also preceded in death by his parents, brothers Laurence and Doug, and sister Blendena. He is survived by two sons, Larry (Kathy) of Belgrade, MT and Craig (Vickie) of Wichita, KS; four grandsons, Shawn (Tina), Shane (Lisa), Bryan (Stacey) all of Belgrade, MT and Blair of Virginia Beach, VA. Six great-grandchildren, Tristan, Tyler, Alex Stephanie, Sydney and Carley. Cremation has taken place. Private family services will take place at a later date.
