Patricia H. Barry

Patricia Barry, 80 years old, and resident of Emigrant, passed away on February 25th 2016. A celebration of her life will be held in the spring.

Patricia was born on July 28, 1935, in Chicago, IL, and in her youth attended Dana Hall Prep School in Wellesley, MA. She later completed a Bachelor’s degree in English at Northwestern University in Chicago. Patricia had a career as a private investor in Chicago and Denver before moving to Paradise Valley in 1990.

She was a strong and valued supporter and volunteer of the Stafford Animal Shelter in Livingston, the Humane Society, and assisted with animal rescue. Patricia enjoyed the love of many pets throughout her life, including Natasha (pictured). Other interests included reading, politics, and outdoor sports such as tennis, swimming, and skiing. Patricia will be remembered for her laughter, her quick wit, and her strength. She was preceded in death by parents, her first husband, and survived by husband Thomas Barry, as well as daughter Jamie Harrison, son F. Dodd Cramsie, two granddaughters, a grandson, eight stepchildren, two great granddaughters, and two great grandsons.
