Pamela Kay Larson, 55, went to be with her Lord on February 23, 2011 at Mountain View Care Center. She was born January 25, 1956, in Belvidere, IL, the daughter of Robert and Shirley Larson. Pam moved with her parents to Bozeman, MT in 1957. She attended Bozeman Elementary School and graduated from Bozeman High School with the Class of 1974 and was a member of First Lutheran Church. As Pam grew older she fell in love with the mountains and enjoyed hiking, and especially skiing in the Bridger Mountains. In high school she designed the signs her parents used in their business. She liked to fish and never forgot to remind us that #8220;she caught two fish at once two times.#8221; She loved her German Shepherd dogs, and they loved her. She studied piano under Harry Fletcher and then Mrs. Bob Sanks. She whistled beautifully any song or hymn. Survivors include her father Robert and step-mother Wilma of Rockford, IL, Aunt, Judith (Robert ) Brenner, Rockford, IL, Uncle Donald (Jessica) Larson Plainview, TX, Tim Wait, step-brother Machesney Park, IL as well as great-aunts, great uncles, and cousins. Pamela was preceded in death by her mother Shirley, grandparents Herman and Hilda Klein and Ellis and Florence Larson. The family would like to thank the staff at Mountain View Care Center for their loving care, Pastor Grayl, Hospice of Southwest Montana, Dahl Funeral Chapel, and those who showed kindness to Pam over the years. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in Pamela#8217;s name to the First Lutheran Church Building Fund, 225 S. Black Ave., Bozeman, MT 59715.
