Michael Lankford

Michael Fanoy Lankford, 51, of Bozeman passed away Thursday April 28, 2011. Mike was born June 16, 1959 in Clovis, California to Fanoy and Irene (Parker) Lankford. He grew up in California, attending school there before eventually moving to Bozeman. He enjoyed his work as a Master Carpenter. He loved the outdoors and spent many hours hunting, camping, and fishing. He was a NASCAR fan, and also enjoyed playing with his remote-controlled helicopter and truck. Mike was a great friend, treating his closest friends like brothers. He loved his family more than anything, including his dog, Nibbles. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Fanoy Calvin Lankford. Survivors include his mother, Irene Lankford; sister, Sharon Blaylock; nephew, Ian Blaylock; niece, Misty Grossardt; great-nephew, Codey Grossardt; and great-nieces, Shyanne Grossardt and Morgan Rose Twiford. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Abundant Life Fellowship Church, 1440 Bobcat Drive in Bozeman.
