Michael David Pressel

Michael David Pressel, 47, of Bozeman, Montana, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 25, 2022. Michael was born August 1, 1975, at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. He was the only child of David William Pressel and Diane Phyllis (Burkett) Pressel.

Michael’s work was mainly in the building trades and his hope was to build a home in the mountains of Montana, a state he truly loved. Michael's passion was all things outdoors, hiking, camping, cooking out, exploring, float trips, four wheeling and time at the lakes.

Michael is survived by two sons, Philip Michael Pressel, currently serving in the military in Alaska, and Jacob Michael Pressel of Bozeman, MT; his parents, David Pressel of Temple, TX, and Diane (Jason) LaRue, of Washington UT; as well as many friends and family in Utah, Colorado, Kansas, South Dakota, Texas and Montana.

No services are planned at this time. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a memorial is scheduled.

Although Michael’s body has passed, his spirit is at peace with Jesus, where one day we'll be united again. “Nothing, no matter how terrible, no matter how powerful, can ever separate us in any way from God’s love for us in Christ” – Romans 8:37-38.
