Martin Pierce

Martin Pierce, 67, of Big Sky, passed peacefully at his home on April 2, 2025.
Martin was born in Japan and arrived in the United States at a young age. A graduate of Ocean Township (New Jersey) High School, Martin furthered his education at St. Bonaventure University and Saddleback College, where he honed the financial acumen that would define his career. He became a respected financial advisor, lending his expertise at Paine Webber as an Investment Executive, and at LPL Financial Services, where he was Vice President of Branch Development. He was well known for his keen insight and unwavering dedication to his clients.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Martin was a man of diverse passions. An avid skier and recreational pilot, he found joy in the great outdoors and relished the thrill of adventure. His love for hunting fostered a deep connection with nature. Martin volunteered with and was a valued member of Gallatin County Search and Rescue, where he devoted his time to helping others in their time of need.
Martin will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments but for the warmth he brought into the lives of those around him. His laughter, kindness, and generous spirit left an indelible mark on his family, friends, and the community he shared.
