Marjorie Asbury

Marjorie Asbury, 92, of Bozeman, passed away at her home Wednesday, September 5, 2018, with family members by her side.



A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Lake Forest, IL, on October 27, 2018. The Columbarium there will be her final resting place.



Marjorie was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas and graduated from Little Rock High School. Growing up she spent summers with her family in Huntley and East Rosebud, Montana. She attended Lindenwood College in Missouri where she earned an Associate Degree in Business. Marjorie was an Administrative Assistant, Arkansas Arts Center and a homemaker. She lived in Little Rock and Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Lake Forest, Illinois; Kansas and Bozeman, Montana.



Marjorie belonged to the P.E.O. Sisterhood and the Christian Women’s Club. She enjoyed traveling and learning about the people and art of other cultures. Her first love was her family and she looked forward to the many celebrations she shared with them. She was gracious, loving, gentle, full of life, and took an avid interest in many people and their families.



Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, three siblings and husband, Dr. Charles Asbury. She is survived by her children: Judy (Ron) Boggs, Naples, Florida; Margot Mazur, Cedarburg, Wisconsin; Deborah (Bo) Andersson, Cambridge, New York; Ralph (Diana) Asbury, Monroe, Louisiana and Charley (Nancy) Asbury, Milford, New Jersey; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
