Marian M Siemsen

Marian M. Siemsen passed away peacefully on May 15, 2017 in Bozeman at the age of 86. Marian was born March 13, 1931 to August and Louise Metzger in Laurel, Montana. She grew up in the Laurel area and met Irvin Siemsen at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Laurel where they were also married on July 9, 1949.

She and Irvin raised their family in Laurel. She taught Sunday school and was a Den leader for Cub Scouts. She enjoyed being around babies, children, and animals. She was a great cook and her baked holiday treats were always delicious. Her grandchildren were the highlight of her golden years. Marian lived in Bozeman, near her family, after Irvin passed away in 2012.

She is survived by her son and daughter -in-law, Daniel and Susie of Belgrade, grandchildren Kimberly of Billings, and Joshua of Bozeman. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter Joanie, brothers Richard, Floyd, and Stanley and her sisters Irene and Dorothy.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2017 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Laurel. Burial will be in the Laurel Cemetery.
