Margaret Donna Harn, 87, of Bozeman, MT passed away at home with her daughters at her side on August 12, 2014. She was born October 9, 1926 in Redfield, SD to Adolph and Rose Mae (Ferguson) Mager. Margaret grew up on a farm in Redfield, SD where she learned all aspects of farm life. She attended Redfield schools and went to Teacher’s College in 1944. She married Benjamin Harn in Redfield on January 1, 1946. Following an early teaching career, Margaret worked at Chambers-Fisher, Pincushion, Spinning Wheel and Joann’s. She also owned her own fabric shop the Spinning Wheel Boutique. She loved crafts, including crocheting. She loved to crochet hats for the Bozeman Deaconess Hospital Nursery. Margaret was a member of the Bozeman Women’s Club, International Club, and the Sons of Norway. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by: her daughters Pat Baerga of Boulder, MT, Colleen Harn of Boulder, MT, and Donna (Chris) Bruchhauser of Belgrade, MT; son Mike (Lee) Harn of Virginia; sister Edith Mager of Santa Rosa, CA; and brothers Gordon Mager, Ronal Mager, and Bobby Mager. Memorials may be made in Margaret’s name to the Bozeman Deaconess Neonatal Foundation, 931 Highland Blvd., Suite 3200, Bozeman, MT 59715.
