Lon Lewis Everly

Lon L. Everly, 91, passed away on July 15, 2015 in Bozeman, MT. Lon was born on March 11, 1924 in rural Glasco, Kansas, to Albert and Ora Gray Everly. Lon was the youngest of his siblings and the last to pass away.

Lon joined the US Navy achieving the rank of Lieutenant. He worked many years as an Air Traffic Controller until his retirement.

Lon was a lifelong woodworker, avid fisherman and hunter, and flew airplanes until he no longer was able to. Lon and his late wife Alpha were married for over 65 years. They were lifelong bowlers and participated in many tournaments over the years.

Lon will be missed by his son, Vaughn Everly, his daughter, Deanne Benn, his four grandsons and his great grandchildren, and his many other friends and family.

Private services will be held at a future date.
