Larry William Wyatt, 68, of Belgrade, formerly of Sweet, Idaho, and Lewistown, Montana passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011 in Bozeman. Larry was born July 20, 1942 in San Luis Obispo, California to Francis and Myrtle Wyatt. He grew up in and Salinas and Paso Robles, California, where he graduated high school. He then attended trade school for Agriculture. He served five and a half years in the US Army Reserves. He married Sandy Thixton, and the couple had two children, Daina and Ty. The two were later divorced. Larry worked on a number of large ranches in southern Oregon. He also ran a welding and irrigation and feed companies in Klamath Falls and Lakeview, Oregon before moving to Evanston, Wyoming to work for AMOCO Construction. It was in Evanston that he met Bonnie Lee Ranck Chadwick, and the two were married on October 8, 1983 in Elko, Nevada. They moved to Alaska when Larry got a job at the Juneau Pipeline and later moved to Cut Bank, Montana for a wheat farming position. In 1990, the couple moved to Bozeman, where Larry worked at the CA Ranch for Buck and Marsha Anderson, running the #8220;Frances#8221; until 1996. He then worked for AquaTech in Belgrade and lived in Gallatin Gateway, where he also sat on the fire board for the voluntary fire department. He worked for Concrete Accessories before moving to Lewistown, Montana. In Lewistown, he helped to establish Central Montana Irrigation. Five years ago, following Bonnie#8217;s death, Larry moved back to Bozeman to work at Montana Structural Concrete. In 2007, he retired and moved to Sweet, Idaho to be with his daughter, Daina, and her family, before recently moving back to Montana. Larry enjoyed agriculture and loved ranching and farming. He especially enjoyed hunting mule deer, and could often be found riding his Jeep in the mountains, looking for wild game. He dedicated a number of volunteer hours to the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks organization as a hunter safety instructor. Survivors include his children, Daina (Robert) Middleton of Sweet, ID and Ty Wyatt of Philomath, OR; step-children, Janie (Michael) Stephens, James (Chris) Chadwick, and Jeffery Chadwick, all of Belgrade; grandchildren, Brett, Mesa, and Kenyon Middleton, Paige, Blake (Nikki Tucker) and Thayne Stephens; Treasura Chadwick, and Mellissa Chadwick; great-grandchildren, Kaydence Stephens and Landon Chadwick; sister, Deb (David) McFadden; and nephew, Peter McFadden, both of Medford, OR. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Dahl Funeral Chapel in Bozeman.
