Our beautiful daughter Kristin Sandfort took her life at home on March 3. Kristin was our loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend who cared deeply about her family.



Kristin was born in Boise, Idaho and grew up alongside her sister. Kristin was a very happy child who found joy in playing with her family and taking care of the many pets in our home. She enjoyed swimming, camping, basketball, volleyball and piano. Art was important to her as well as baking for the family.



Kristin helped her sister Amy make an important life change by moving to Bozeman, Montana in 2010. Amy started a new career and Kristin helped by taking care of her niece.



Kristin met her boyfriend who was a positive person in her life for the last few years. They made a lovely home that she was very proud of. Kristin graduated from Healthworks Institute in Bozeman in 2016. Then, shortly after started her own business providing esthetician services. She was very passionate about her skills and helping others feel good about themselves.



Kristin is survived by parents Cal and Machel Sandfort, sister and brother in law Amy and Ian Schumacher, niece, nephew and grandmothers, uncles, aunts and cousins.



The family is holding a Celebration of Kristin's life on Saturday, March 18th.
