Keven Miller

March 25, 1988 — June 22, 2010

Keven Phillip Miller, 22, of Bozeman, passed away June 22, 2010. Keven was born March 25, 1988 in Bozeman, Montana. He lived his entire life in the Gallatin Valley, where he attended Emily Dickenson Elementary, Chief Joseph Middle School, and Bridger Alternative School. After graduation he worked at several local restaurants and most recently worked with his father at Empire Building Materials as a Yardman. Keven loved art of all kinds and had a passion for cooking, with aspirations of going to Culinary School. He was picky about his food; he could eat copious amounts of ice cream and was quickly soothed by cookies, but refused to eat cooked peas. His friends loved to partake in the enchiladas he would make. Keven was an outdoor enthusiast, be it snowboarding, biking, or camping. He enjoyed many sports and was a natural at most whatever sport he tried. He spent many hours with his bike at Bozeman#8217;s Skate Park. Keven was the strong silent type with a fabulous sense of humor and loved to tease his family and friends. He loved to laugh and be goofy at any opportunity. Keven was a kind, compassionate, caring man who had a soft spot for children. He had a huge heart and made friends wherever he went. Keven changed the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him in his short 22 years. Survivors include his mother Carol (Wade Chabot) Miller, his father Rodney (Kathleen) Miller, and his sister Amber Miller, all of Bozeman. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother Beulah Lancaster of Rapid City, SD, paternal grandparents Tom and Judy Miller of Kalispell, MT, and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. Keven#8217;s life will be celebrated with a private ceremony for family and close friends. Memorials may be made in his name to St. Jude Children#8217;s Research Hospital at www.StJude.org.
