Kathy Griffith, 55, of Bozeman, passed away Sunday September 23rd, 2007 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Kathy was born in Billings, MT on December 15, 1951 to Mick and Dolores Fraker. She was the second of four children. She attended the tiny Pioneer grade school with her siblings by the family ranch in Clark, WY and finished high school in Belfry, MT. She later attended North West Community College in Powell, WY where she received her associate#8217;s degree. Kathy went on to work for Montana State University where she would stay for over 30 years. MSU is where she met the love of her life Duane, and they were married on July 12th, 1987. Kathy truly enjoyed life and was a wonderful mother, wife, grandma, and friend. She loved to spend time with her husband and all her children. Her granddaughter Mikalya was the light of her life and she instantly fell in love with her grandson Braden. She loved the life she built with Duane and they dreamed of growing old together, buying a house with a view of the valley, drinking wine on the deck, and most importantly, living off their children. She took pride in all her children and talked of them often to anyone that would listen. They were her biggest success in life. She is preceded in death by her brother Steve Fraker, Granny and Gramp, and Grandma Margaret. She is survived by husband Duane Griffith, son JD Nose of Texas currently stationed in Iraq, daughters Jenny (Chuck) Davison of Bozeman, Jimmi (Johnny) Silva of Cody, WY, Amy (Brian) Eldridge of Ohio, and Brandy (Mike) Griffith of Washington; grandchildren Mikayla Davison and Braden Silva, along with parents Mick and Dolores Fraker of Billings, MT, sister Marilyn (Laurence) Siroky of Helena, MT and brother Jim (Kathleen) Fraker of Washington, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom she loved deeply. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 29th at 10:30am at Dahl Funeral Chapel, interment to follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a memorial fund for Mikayla and Braden in Grandma Kathy#8217;s name at First Security Bank, 670 S. 19th, Bozeman, MT 59715.
