June Billingham

June Caroline Billingham, 82, of Bozeman passed away suddenly of heart failure on Sunday, October 26, 2008. She was born June 28, 1926 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota to Ralph and Florence Green, the fourth of seven children. She lived and worked most of her life in Great Falls, Montana. In 1946, she married John Billingham. Together, they raised two children, Ralph, who passed away in 1987, and Janis. In 1988, June retired from Buttrey Foods, where she had worked for 20 years. After her retirement, she and John traveled the country in their motor home until his death in 1996. She moved to Bozeman in 1998, where she attended Grace Bible Church and was a member of the Bozeman Senior Center. She enjoyed being with her family and watching her great-grandchildren grow. Her hobbies included gardening and shopping. June was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; and son Ralph. Survivors include her daughter, Janis of Bozeman, MT; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Gladys Burt of Great Falls, MT; and a loving companion, Bob Knipfer. Memorials in June#8217;s name may be made to the Bozeman Senior Center, 807 N. Tracy, Bozeman, MT 59715 A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Monday November 3, 2008 at Grace Bible Church in Bozeman.
