Judith 'Judy' A. Gower

Judith “Judy” A. Gower passed away February 27, 2014. She was born March 10, 1942 in Buffalo, WY to Arthur and Marjorie (Knight) Torrence. Her family moved to California when she was six months old. Judy married Johnny Irwin on April 4, 1959 and then she graduated from Sacramento High School in 1960. Johnny was in the Air Force, so she stayed home to raise their three children, Michael, Lori, and Terri. After four years of marriage, the couple divorced. In 1969, Judy married Cark Hoskin. The couple had one child, Jeffery. Judy enjoyed reading books, puzzles, and most of all spending time with friends and family. Judy was preceded in death by her father and daughter-in-law Phyllis. She is survived by: her mother Marjorie Collins; children Michael Irwin, Lori Irwin, and Terri Burdan; sisters Anita Manning and Sandra Torrence; brothers Mike (Lorraine) Torrence and Clifford (Mary) Collins; four grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and friend John Landles.
