Judith Berg

Judith “Judi” Ann Berg, age 73 of Bozeman, MT passed away Sunday October 9th, 2016 at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Judi was born in Lakefield, MN on July 30th, 1943 to parents Wilbur and Irma Rue. Following her graduation from high school, Judi received her cosmetology license. Throughout the remainder of her life, she employed her resourcefulness and intelligence working not only as a cosmetologist, but also as a real estate agent, a business owner, a CNA, and most recently as a cashier for Thriftway Superstops.



In 1975, Judi was united in marriage to Doug Berg and together they raised three children; Todd, Tim, and Michelle. This marriage was blessed with the addition of Melissa. After losing her son Tim to a tragic accident in 1986, the family moved to Montana. She enjoyed bowling, horses, gardening, and of course the Minnesota Vikings. Judi possessed a profound love for her family that she passed along to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.



Judi is preceded in death by her parents Wilbur and Irma Rue; brother Jerry; husband Douglas Berg; and son Timothy Berg. She is survived by son Todd (Karen) Berg of Belgrade, MT; daughter Michelle (David) Wagenman of Livingston, MT; daughter Melissa (Larry) Tallman of Belgrade, MT; sister Janet (Richard) Kimbler of Albertville, MN; sister Lori (Jeff) Lindgren of Pennock, MN; brother Joe Rue of Brooten, MN; grandchildren Jamie, Todd Jr., Terance, Tasha, Brittney, Buddy, Megan, Kelsey, Abbey; and great-grandchildren Brandon, Alex, Jordan, and Kaylee.



A visitation starting at 1:00pm followed by a funeral will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, October 13th at Dahl Funeral Chapel. A reception will be held immediately following the service.
