Joy Myers passed at her home on June 1st in Bozeman, Montana due to a stroke. She was born September 30th, 1940 in Eugene, Oregon to mother Gladys Evyln Bauman and father George Edward Bauman. She married at age 34 to Gregory Dale Myers in Quilcene, Washington on April 22nd, 1975. She is preceded in death by husband Gregory Dale Myers, mother Gladys Bauman, father Gregory Bauman, and brother Richard Bauman. She is survived by daughter Caprice Madden of Oak Harbor, WA, son Gary Lindsay of Big Fork, Montana, daughter Crystal Myers of Port Townsend, WA, and daughter and son-in-law Maggie and Harry Myers of Bozeman, MT; as well as sister Patty Peterson of Eugene, Oregon. She had 6 grandchildren, Kimberly, Bradley, Kristan, Ashley, Haley, and Erin. She graduated from South Eugene High. She was a retired Dental Lab technician and landscaper. She has lived in Eugene, Oregon; Portland, Oregon; Port Townsend, WA, Quilcene, WA and finally in Bozeman, Montana. Joy loved animals, camping and world travel, especially Thailand. She was a gifted artist and took great pleasure in gardening. She touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed, but as mom always said, #8220;The best is yet to come.#8221;
