Joseph Robert 'Bob' Grenier, Livingston, Montana, passed from this world at his home on August 24, 2013. Bob is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lucille (Grenache), 2 daughters , Donna (Lee) Tykoski of Canton, Ml and Denise (Jim) Knight of Livingston, MT, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, brother Jimmy (Sharon) Grenier of Livonia, Ml and sisters Teresa Hess of Canton, Ml and Jeannette Catone of Prescott, AZ. Bob was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 3, 1924. He served in the 3rd Armor in World War II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He received several commendations for his service including a Purple Heart. Bob worked as an industrial photographer for Packer Motor Company in Detroit, Michigan from 1945 until its closing in 1954. He then became a photographer for Bendix Corporation where he excelled in his profession for 25 years. Career accomplishments include development of a technique to photograph liquid crystal and numerous photographs for the Apollo Lunar mission. Bob retired in 1981 and moved to Canada Creek Ranch in Atlanta , Ml. In 2006 he and Lucille moved to Livingston, Montana. A memorial mass will be held at St. Mary's Church in Livingston on Tuesday at 9:00 AM. The funeral mass will be held at St. John Nueman's Church in Canton, Michigan on Friday, August 30. Burial will be at Veteran's Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
