John Anderson

John Anderson, 62, of Belgrade passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009. John was born on February 9, 1947 in Logan, Utah to Ross and Jeneal Anderson. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, he lived in Idaho, where he owned the largest Union paint company in the state. John was a true western man; he loved to hunt, fish, boat, and pack in mules for hunting. He will be remembered as a warm, kind-hearted, excellent man who was as honest as the day is long. He was a great father who was talented with his hands and was always proud of his work. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Roberta Anderson; children, Jason (Melinda) Anderson of Preston, ID, Melissa Anderson of Logan, UT, James (Melisa) Esteves-Bennett of Bozeman, MT, Athen (Krista) Bennett of Bozeman, and Nathan Anderson of Belgrade, MT; grandchildren, Jonathan Covington Anderson, Jesse Anderson, Michelle Anderson, Skyler James Bennett, and Elias Jude Bennett; and siblings, Garth (Portice) Anderson, Terrell (Joanne) Anderson, Judy (Kent) Anderson, Cyndi (Dennis) Powers, and Kerry (Kaylene) Anderson. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, May 4, 2009 at Dahl Funeral Chapel, and at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at the Bozeman LDS Stake Center. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am on Tuesday at the Stake Center, with interment to follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
