On Wednesday, April 13th, 2011, Jo-Anne Patricia Scott passed away peacefully at her home in Bozeman. Jo-Anne was born in Toronto, Canada and moved to New York after high school graduation. She received a Nursing degree from Brooklyn Jewish Hospital, graduated from Columbia University, and received her Master#8217;s Degree from New York University. She moved to Helena, Montana in the late seventies to teach Nursing at Carroll College. In 1982, she married Dr. A. M. El-Negoumy, a Professor of Biochemistry at Montana State University. Upon her retirement from Carroll College and relocation to Bozeman, Jo-Anne became a valued community member. She volunteered her time with a variety of organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Rocky Mountain Hospice, the American Association of University Women, Resurrection Parish, Rocky Mountain Museum and #8220;Chunch#8221; at Holy Rosary RC Church. She is survived by her sisters, Helena and Daisy, and their families and will be remembered by all for her many accomplishments, her positive attitude, love of family and friends and her wonderful sense of humor.
