Jerome K. Marcotte, known as Jer, fell into his Savior's arms on August 15, 2020 in Bozeman, MT. This wonderful man was brought into the light of this world on July 25, 1961 in Bozeman, MT to Dr. Kenneth and Colleen Marcotte at the Bozeman Deaconess Hospital.
Jer loved his wife, Tamara, of 34 and a half years and his two beautiful sons with everything he had. His goodness lives on within his sons. Jer was a loving husband and an excellent father. Not your typical father but a father to many. Over the years he mentored many young people with sage advice hoping for them to become upstanding citizens. Everything he knew he wanted to pass along to the next generations to come.
Jer could fix almost anything. If he knew how it worked, he could fix it. If he didn't, well he'd figure it out. Along with so many other talents. In Jer's life he was a master salesman but the goodhearted kind. He was also a mechanic, he could grill like no other, and he was an excellent storyteller. Jer had such an incredible, recognizable voice that warmth and comfort flooded the soul at the first, "Hey, how's it going?" However, Jer was not wealthy but rich in knowledge, wisdom, humor, family, and friendships. In our nation, he was a true patriot to the country he called home.
He had a knack for choosing fine people to be his friends. In his passing they all have been a Godsend to his family, another testament to the man he strived to be. As his family we are beyond grateful for every one of them. You all know who you are, we, his family see you and are blessed by all of the love and support.
Jerome K. Marcotte is survived by his wife Tamara Marcotte, his oldest son Jackson Marcotte, his daughter-in-law Mariah, and his youngest son Anthony "Tony" Marcotte; his brothers John Marcotte (Dena), and Jim Marcotte (Tammy) and Jim's son James Marcotte (Lorena). Also, his
father and mother-in-law, George, and Teddy Kingma. Followed by his brothers and sisters-in-law: Tom and Judy Kingma, Fred and Marty Kessler, Janis Stehman, and then Kenneth and Sandy Kingma. And by many beloved nephews and nieces, and great nephews and nieces.
Also, those members whose blood is not shared but are still family to the heart.
Jerome is now proceeded with his parents, Dr. Kenneth, and Colleen Marcotte. His nephews Trevor and Travis Stehman, and sister-in-law Phyllis Kessler.
After many years shared with Jerome K. Marcotte we thank God for his magnificent blessing in giving us such a wonderful human being. Whom we can carry on his wisdom and legacy through the many souls that have been touched. Godspeed Jer.
