Jeannie Taylor

January 3, 1950 — February 7, 2010

Jeannie Lou Taylor went to heaven on Feb. 7, 2010. Born in Livingston, Jan. 3, 1950, to Charles and Georgia (Sarver) Taylor, she spent her early years on the ranch in Tom Miner Basin. She graduated from Gardiner High School in 1968, then attended Bozeman VoTech, where she proudly earned her LPN. For Jeannie, nursing and life were all about care, compassion and comfort for those in need, which she gave openly as long as she was able. Jeannie is survived by her mom, Georgia Sumner of Livingston; son, Christopher Dykman; granddaughter, Sierra Fisher-Dykman; brother, Ronnie (Jackie); twin brother, Jerry (Rowene); sister, Debra (Tony); Jeannie's nieces, Nora (Mike), Erica and Jinjur (Brandon), who adored their Aunt Jeannie, and their children, to whom Jeannie gave each a special name with a loving bond: Ashley, Jacob, Lucas, Alex, Lila, Tristan and Valon. She is also survived by stepmom, Helen Wolfe. Jeannie was preceded in death by her dad; and incredible stepdad, Arthur Sumner. Special thanks, gratitude and love to Dr. Kurt Kurtz for his compassion, insight and always being there; the staff at Kurtz Clinic; Heather and Mary Fisher (her other loving family); and hospice nurse, Linda. Hug a nurse. A memorial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, in Livingston at the Livingston Christian Center reception hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to hospice, the humane society, or to anyone in need. Jeannie Lou, no more pain, no more suffering. Singing, dancing, playing guitar and loving us 'til the end of time.
