Jean Phelps

Jean Audrey Phelps, 92, of Bozeman, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at her home at the Bozeman Lodge. She was born June 8, 1918 in Jacksonville, Florida, a daughter to Carl and Hazel (Bounderant) Braun. She was raised and educated in Florida. She married Warren Phelps, they were married for over 60 years, and he preceded her in death in 2002. Jean moved to Bozeman in 2000 to be near her daughter Sally. Survivors include her daughter Sally Shea of Bozeman, MT; her son and daughter-in-law Warren A. and Gail Phelps of Howey-in-the-Hills, FL; grandchildren Jeremy (Michele) Shea of Bozeman, MT, Keri (Dave) Varkony of Powell, WY, Brandie (Dave) Klein of Clermont, FL, Kenzie Krinkee and Nevada Krinkee both of Bozeman, MT. Graveside services will be held at the Highland Memory Garden in Apopka, Florida. A special thanks to the staff at the Bozeman Lodge and Rocky Mountain Hospice, for the friendship and the special care for Jean. Memorials may be made in her name to Rocky Mountain Hospice.
