Jason Myers

Jason Myers, 29, of Bozeman, passed away April 6th, 2009. He was born October 18, 1979 in Blue Earth, MN. He was raised in Minnesota and Wisconsin, he and his family moved to Bozeman, when Jason was Junior in high school. Jason graduated from Bozeman Senior High School in 1998. Following high school Jason moved back to Stevens Point, Wisconsin to work at Furniture and Appliance mart, and then later to Rhinelander, WI to work with his father at the same company. Jason moved back to Bozeman in 2007 and was most recently employed by Safeway Grocery Store. Jason loved spending time with his family especially when they were hunting, fishing or 4 wheeling together. Their adventures took them to Harlowton and Ennis during hunting season. He always looked forward to spending the summers on the farm with grandpa and grandma Wertjes. Jason enjoyed photography, reading books and watching movies. Jason will be remembered for his willingness to help anyone in need, was always available to work when others needed time off, sense of humor, love of his family. Survivors include his parents Mark and Lori Myers of Rhinelander, WI; mother Deb Wertjes of Kiester,MN; 2 sisters Kayla Myers of Sheridan, WY; Dani Wertjes of Kiester,MN; 3 brothers Cody Myers of Bozeman, MT and Dylan Myers of Rhinelander, WI; Jesse Wertjes of MD; paternal grandparents George and Audrey Myers of Blue Earth, MN; Ervin and Donna Hanson from Blue Earth, MN; maternal grandparents Bud and Barb Adams of Stevens Point, WI; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation 6 to 8 pm at Monday, April 13, 2009 at Dahl Funeral Chapel, with the family present to greet friends from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. A funeral service will be held 1:30 pm, Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Dahl Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow services at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
