James Richard Wyss

James Richard Wyss, (JR) owner of JR’s Antiques in the Four Corners area, Bozeman, MT passed away Friday, January 26, at Saint George Utah from complications of a Stroke. Jim was 65 years of age.

Jim was born March 11th, 1952 in Miles City Montana where he attended Custer County High School, graduating in 1971. Jim later settled in Tucson, AZ where he first started working with antiques, a passion he shared with his mother Katie. He continued his antique business in the White Mountains area of AZ before returning to Bozeman where he opened and successfully ran JR’s Antiques.

His is survived by his sister- in- law Patricia Wyss, niece Elizabeth Weatherston, and nephew Scott Wyss and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Katie and Walter Wyss and his brother, Dennis Wyss.

A funeral service will be held in Bozeman, Mt at Dahl’s Funeral Home on Saturday February 3rd at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at a later date in the family lot of Custer County Cemetery in Miles City next to his parents.
