James H O'Rourke

James H. O’Rourke, 94, of Great Falls, passed away on April 28, 2019.



James was born in Columbus, ND to Lewis and Lillian O’Rourke on December 9, 1924. He married Jean Koerber on September 7, 1946. James worked as a Locomotive Engineer for Northern Pacific/Burlington Northern. He was a veteran of WWII and Korean war with the Navy and Air Force and was awarded Asiatic/Pacific Area Campaign, American Area Campaign, Good Conduct/WWII Victory.



James is preceded in death by his wife Jean, son Dan and parents. He is survived by his son Mike (Sandi) O’Rourke; four grandchildren Kelsie (Dexter) Eastlick, Kaitlyn O’Rourke, Kellie (Dan) Agrimson, Carly (Shad) Beck and two great-grandchildren Hurley Eastlick and Phillip Beck.



James’ family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Benefis Peace Hospice and Park Place Nursing Home.



A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 7th at Dahl Funeral & Cremation Service Tribute Center followed by a Graveside Committal Service with Military honors at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
