Irene Meyers

Irene D. Meyers 89, of Belgrade passed away on March 5, 2009. At Elsie's Assisted Living. She was born in Seattle Washington on October 26, 1919 to the parents of Josephine Ada Bennett and LeRoy Decker growing up in Seattle, with her father and step mother Hanah B ( Johnson ) Decker, Graduating from West Seattle High School. Irene traveled extensively around the world in the Military and civilian life. She managed the Alvarado Dental group in San Diego, for many years before retiring. She was a participating member of Eastern Star, Children's Hospital Auxiliary, Alpha Zeta Beta Sorority, Alpha Chi Chapter, and The San Diego Assistance League. She was an accomplished seamstress, Model, Sewing teacher and, business woman. Irene loved her family and her friends more than anything, and thought that truthfulness and honesty were always best. Irene was preceded in death by her mother and father,her husband, Laurel (Bud) Meyers, Sister Geraldine Combs, and Brother, Orville Decker. Survivors include her children, Ronald ( Barb ) Williams, of Bozeman, Susan DeJulio-(Thomas) Kuntz of Belgrade Montana. Grand Children Ronald Widick, of Orange, Ca, Kellie ( David )Woodard, of San Diego, California, Michelle Williams- (Dave) Ronson, of Bozeman, MT, Ronald ( Erica) Williams JR. of Belgrade, Montana. Great Grand Children, Morgan Leigh Woodard of San Diego, CA Alexandra and Andrew Ronson, of Bozeman, Montana. Memorial services to be held Tues March 10, 2009 at 2:00pm at St James Episcopal Church, Bozeman. Irene prefers memorials given to St James Episcopal Church She will be missed by all.
