Inda Mae Cole passed away Thursday, March 31, 2011, at the age of 70 from complications due to diabetes. Inda was born July 2, 1940, to John Henry and Wilma Mae Kastner in Lewistown. The oldest of five children, Inda had two sisters and two brothers, Ruth Lyda of Powell, Wyo., Alice Walker, John Kastner and Don Heiman, all of Billings. Inda spent the majority of her life in Bozeman and married her late husband, Peter Cole in 1964. She worked at Van's IGA for several years; Bozeman Deaconess Hospital in admissions and insurance for 11 years; as a administrative assistant for Dr. Prussack for six years and finished her working career as the office manager of Legion Villa Apartments for 10 years. Inda was blessed with five children: Tommy Miller of Missouri, Penne Swenson (Richard) of Cut Bank, Russell Pellett (Misty) of Blackfoot, Idaho, Michelle Odermott (John) of Billings, and Peter Cole Jr. of Aurora, Colo. She loved to spend her time reading, camping, boating, motorcycle riding and enjoying her many friends. Inda was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Cole Sr.; her sons, Richard Wayne Pellett and Peter Cole Jr.; and her brother, Don Heiman. She is also survived by six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, her dear friend, Lois Zach, and her loving cat, Daisy. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, April 8, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Legion Villa Apartments, third floor common area. Cremation has taken place.
