Helynn 'Lynn' Krall

Helynn #8220;Lynn#8221; Francis Krall died peacefully at Spring Meadows Retirement Center in Bozeman, MT on April 29, 2008. She was born to Frank and Helen Gronkiewicz in Chicago, IL on June 8, 1921. She met her husband James L. Krall (Jim) while he was stationed at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin during World War II. They were married February 16, 1946 and were together for 61 years before Jim#8217;s death in January of 2007. She moved to Moccasin, Montana with her husband in 1946. While in Moccasin, she had three children. The family moved to Huntley, Montana in 1959 and then to Bozeman in 1975. Lynn taught piano for many years and will be well remembered for passing on her love of music to her children, grandchildren and many young students in Montana. She was also active in her church. Lynn will be best remembered as an active member of the Montana Federation of Garden Clubs for many years. She was a founder of a club in Judith Basin County and was a member of the Huntley Project and the Bozeman Garden Clubs. She held many offices at the local and state levels of the Garden Club Federation. She is survived by her three children, Carol L. Adamsen (Krall) of Chandler, AZ, Barbara J. Hudson (Krall), of Bozeman, and James M. Krall of Torrington, WY along with 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A vigil will be held the evening of Monday May 5, 2008 at Dahl Funeral Chapel at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Bozeman on Tuesday May 6, 2008 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Contributions can be made in her name to the Alzheimer#8217;s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17 Chicago, IL 60601.
