Grace Mongar

Grace Frederick Mongar, 93, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at the Gallatin Rest Home, where she resided for the past 10 years. Grace was born on October 8, 1917 to William and Susie (Adams) Frederick. She was born and raised in Clyde Park, Montana. She married William Mongar on December 16, 1939. Together, they lived in Butte, Clyde Park and back to Butte until they retired. They moved to Bozeman until their passing. Grace was preceded in death by her husband, William; her parents, William and Susie; her sisters, Thelma Terry, Mamie Speith, Elsie Logan; and her brother, Les Frederick. Grace is survived by her children, Billie Ann (Lyman) Smith, Randall (Barbara) Mongar; her sister Irene Kirscher; her brother William (Bev) Frederick; sister in law, Annabelle Frederick; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. No services will be held; however, a reception will be held at 1pm on September 24 at the Community Center in Clyde Park. The family would like to thank all of the wonderful and caring personnel at the Gallatin Rest Home who have taken care and loved her. We will miss you terribly!
