Gloria Jean Stueck

Gloria Jean Stueck, 61, of Bozeman entered into God's glory on September 16, 2011. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by family. Gloria was born in Glendive, Montana with a life-long love of life. Her parents, Maxine and Walter Sterhan raised her with love and joy. She moved to Bozeman to finish high school and after graduation married the love of her life Don Stueck on July 20, 1968. Together, they raised their two sons in Bozeman. Gloria treasured the time she spent with her sons, grandchildren, nieces, who she loved as daughters, and nephews; exploring the world of nature. Besides her love of nature, she was an excellent cook helping many a family with meals and desserts. Gloria#8217;s acts of kindness were shown all over Bozeman, she was a tireless volunteer for many causes. Her only request was that we all #8220;pass it forward#8221;. Gloria will be missed by her church family after many years of service at Resurrection Parish. Gloria treasured her family, friends and church family that showed her so much love and support. Gloria battled a life-long heart disease, but she never let that slow her down from her hobbies, church and building a relationship with each and everyone she knew. She brought joy and strength, changing everyone#8217;s lives who knew her, through her persevering spirit and infectious smile. Gloria was preceded in death by her son Greg, her parents and brother Jim. Gloria is survived by her husband Don, son Scott, sister Jaki (Ben) Lindeman, brother Bill (Marcia) Sterhan, nieces and nephews Bethany (Zach) Rehbein, Bill (Amy) Lindeman, Erin Lindeman, Todd and Ty Sterhan, and grandchildren Shannon, Tyler and Kayla. Services will be held at 10am at Resurrection Church on Saturday, September 24, 2011 with interment to follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Remember, Pass It Forward!
