Geraldine Callahan, 86, of Bozeman, Montana, passed away on May 28, 2015. She was born on October 23, 1928, to Thomas and Amelia (Neuman) Nash, in St. Paul, Minnesota. Gerry attended college at the University of Minnesota. She was married and later divorced, and had two daughters, Kathleen and Colleen. She worked at the University of Minneapolis’ Tally office. Gerry went on to live in a number of cities over the years, including Seattle, WA, Corvallis, OR, Livingston, MT, and Bozeman, MT. While in Corvallis she worked for the Oregon State University Library. She then went on to open her own bookstore, the Iliad, which she owned from 1978 to 1990. It is this bookstore for which she will be most remembered. In addition to her love of books, Gerry was a seeker of knowledge and personal transformation. She also loved animals. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Tom and Richard Nash, and her sister Jacqueline Ennen. Gerry is survived by her daughters Kathleen Callahan of Bozeman, MT, and Colleen Callahan of Oak Ridge, OR, and her sister Rosalie (Richard) Hoehn of LeSueur, MN.
